For the board

  • Assorted Cheeses, Fruits, and Bread

Instructions

  1. Set oven to 375°F. In a small pan, toss garlic cloves in olive oil and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until garlic is golden. Remove from oven and cool.
  2. Finely chop rosemary and thyme. Place into bowl with softened butter and mix. Chop up roasted garlic and mix into butter as well.
  3. Season the ribeye with flaky salt and pepper, and let rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat up a cast iron skillet over high heat - once the skillet is hot, lower to medium heat. Add the ribeye onto the skillet and sear on both sides for 3-4 minutes for medium rare. Once seared on both sides, add the garlic and herb butter to the skillet. Tilt skillet to one side and use spoon to baste the ribeye.
  5. Remove Ribeye from skillet and lest rest for ten minutes, then slice.
  6. Serve on an assembled platter with assorted cheeses, fruits, and more.
